Would you like to hear from others who’ve been in your shoes, faced similar circumstances, and would like to support you on your journey? Hi, I am Cathy Jo Lang, and I am excited to welcome you to “The Unplanned Joyful Life” podcast Like many young women, I experienced an unplanned pregnancy when I was nineteen. I married my High-school Sweetheart, and we had our first child just 6 months later. When I found out that I was pregnant, I knew immediately, that I was blessed to have this new life inside me. And, I was also very hopeful for a happy future. There were challenges along the way, as I adapted to my new role as mom and wife. But, despite the hardships, I was able to grow in strength, faith and hope. This helped me to care for myself and my family to the best of my ability. And, I became a mom and wife that I could be proud of. The life path I was on, prior to pregnancy, would be forever changed. But, it was in choosing marriage and motherhood, that God brought the most abundance into mine. When working toward goals such as a college education and career, my family became a source of inspiration and support. And, it was my love for them that motivated me the most. I am a Certified Coach, Trainer and Speaker; Registered Nurse; Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant; and Published Children’s Book Author Inside this podcast, I will share my personal journey, along with valuable information, tips, tricks and helpful insights that will support you as you work to be the best mom, wife and version of yourself. I will guide you on ways to create a happy and healthy home for you and your family. And, I will provide you with a positive framework to build your future by practicing Regular Self-care, Christian Values, Healthy Family Routines and Community Involvement. Whether you’re working on a healthy relationship with your spouse, creating a happy bedtime routine for your child, or working toward a college degree, I will be there to support you every step of the way. I will include a variety of resources in each episode. Some episodes will nclude guests that are young moms and wives themselves, as well as experts in areas that will benefit you the most. Together, we will share knowledge, experience and insight to help make your journey on “The Unplanned Joyful Life” a happy one! So, find a comfy spot, grab your favorite drink and listen in!
